LOST..."Dr. Linus"

Thoughts and things that were coming about during tonight's episode...

The word that Dr. Linus writes on the board is ELBA...or abel....maybe Ben is ABLE to be the principal...or in charge...of the school like Alt-Locke determines.

Miles "hears" Jacob's ashes tell him that Ben really killed him not FLock.  He's not really good at lying about things.  Then he tries to talk his way out of it with Ilana.

Ironically Alt-Ben still lives with his father.  His father always has wanted more for him...we also find out that they signed up for Dharma AND lived on the island BUT they didn't stay there.  So when we saw the ocean under water, the question is how did it get there??

ALEX?? What??  She is one of Ben's students and he tutors her.  WOW.  Never saw that one coming.

Poor Sun still can't find Jin and Ilana still doesn't know which one to protect out of the Kwan family.

Hurley isn't being straight forward with Jack which isn't good.  Richard shows up which scared the crap out of me.  Has he been wandering in the woods this WHOLE time??

Ben finds an Oceanic water bottle in Sawyer's old tent on the beach.  Ilana has a gun to ben's head and it looks as if he might finally pay for what he has done all those years ago.  Is he really going to die though?  Probably not...

I thought it was amazing how much Ben and Alex were getting along.  Opposite from what they normally would on the other reality.

Ben...always trying to swindle his way out of things...offering Miles money when Miles is possibly never going to get off the island.

And then we get to the black rock...are we going to get some questions answered?  Well Jack and Hurley find out that everyone at the temple is dead.  Richard told them.  Richard now needs to die? In Chris's words..."WTF!!!"  (only he said the words).

And I love Arzt..."Linus, you're a real killer."

Richard - "I can't kill myself."  Again I say...WHAT?  He says that Jacob touching you is a curse.  He wants to die because he has no purpose anymore like he did when Jacob was alive...or at least Jacob made him feel like he had a purpose.  So Jack lites the dynamite and Hurley runs out. and what do you know?  The fuse goes out.  How did Jack know?  Just because he has been watched by Jacob for a long time?  I can't wait to find out more about Richard's story.

And Ben is going to try to run away...this is where I hope he gets shot....but he doesn't of course.

Ben also still has it...he is still a blackmailer.  SURPRISE?  I think not.  He's also still a manipulator.  And once again he has to make a decision involving Alex.  Question is will he choose her this time or will he screw her over again?  Well at least this time she won't actually die.  So what does Dr. Linus choose?  To help Alex.  At least he does this time.  I give him very small props.  I still think he is a tool.  One of the few times he is not a selfish jerk.

I thoght theviews of them on the beach were like watching them crash on the plane again.  Didn't the same type of scene happen a few seasons ago with Kate, Jack, and....I'm drawing a blank on the third...?

And the sub?  Widmore? FINALLY!!!  Thank you!!  Only 9 episodes left.  I'm going to be so sad when this is done.

At least with this episode I don't have so many questions like I have the last few episodes.  That was driving me crazy.
