What Kate DOES

Thoughts and things that we found out.  I probably won't get all of them but I did my best!  There were 3 story lines going on tonight and holy cow a lot of things happened...or maybe it feels like more because I'm typing about them!

1.  Sayid has no clue what happned to him.  His wound is almost healed.  Lennon and Dogan need to talk to him and take him into the temple and strap him to a table.  Dogan starts performing some kind of a procedure with Sayid that involves electrocution.  How, when he was getting branded, did his head get out of the band that was helping strap him down?  Lennon tells Sayid that it was a test to make sure he was ok - I'm thinking to make sure it isn't the smoke monster - then Lennon says that he lied to Sayid and Dogan says yes...WHAT IS GOING ON!?!?!?  I thought they were supposed to STOP with the mystery and START answering questions.

Jack goes to get answers from Dogan and Lennon and he finds out that Sayid is infected - with what though??  Dogan tells Jack that he needs to give Sayid a pill and basically guilt trips him to do it.  Sayid and Jack talk about taking the pill and Jacks owns up to the fact that he didn't save Sayid, the Others did.  What is with the baseball?

Dogan says that he has to remain separate from the people he is in charge of so that is why he has a translator.  He was brought to the island - and tells Jack that he knows what he means.  Jack doesn't give Sayid the pill and wants to know what is in it but Dogan won't budge telling him.  Instead Jack tries to swallow it himself and Dogan has to karate chop him (haha) in order to get Jack to spit out the pill.  Dogan then tells Jack that it is poison...!!!  Did Smokey start to take over Sayid's body?  Can Smokey take on multiple forms at once?  Maybe there is more than one smoke monster on the island?  Smokey has come out of the outer wall of the temple...what is with the outer wall?  Is he just waiting for his time to break into the temple?  AND FOR WHAT REASON??  What is the whole point?  What is all of this trying to accomplish??

They are trying to do this to Sayid because they think he has been "claimed" meaning there is a darkness in his heart and once it takes over, the kind friend that Jack knows will be gone.  Dogan says that the same thing happened to his sister...remember who that is right??  But when we see his sister at the end of the episode, I hate so say, she doesn't look bad...she looks like she is trying to defend herself.  I just hope that it doesn't mean Jack has ANOTHER sister we don't know about....PLEASE NO JJ Abrams!!

2.  Sawyer is still bent out of shape about Juliette and wants to run away. He is told by Dogan (head of the temple) that he has to stay but Sawyer walks out anyways.  He tells Kate (and anyone else for that matter) to not come and find him.  Lennon tells Kate that it is important for her to bring Sawyer back so she and Jin are going to go track him.

Kate, Jin, and 2 of the guards leave to go find Sawyer and stumble across Sawyer's trail - one a decoy and one that was real.  They find a trap that they think was set by Rousseau however one of the guards says that she has been dead for years but the other guard tells him to shut up.  Kate decides to escape and knocks them out, giving Jin a gun and taking one for herself.  Jin wants to find Sun and Kate has no intention of taking Sawyer back to the temple.

Sawyer's trail leads Kate to Dharma-ville. This is where she hears banging inside of a house.  It is Sawyer tearing up a floor to get a shoe box.  Here we see that he has something in his hand that he seems to care about.  He hears Kate and is mad to find out that she followed him, even if it was because she was worried.  She follows Sawyer out to the dock and explains that she came back to find Claire so that she could reunite her with Aaron.  Sawyer blames Juliette's death on him because he convinced her to stay instead of taking the sub all because he didn't want to be alone.  This was a really emotional time for Sawyer - he was going to ask Juliette to marry him (he had taken the ring out of the shoebox) and throws it into the ocean.  I think Kate realized that she could never have Sawyer - my thought on why she starts crying.

Sawyer walks back to Dharma-ville and Kate fills up her canteen and leaves Dharma-ville.

Jin is still walking around and the two guards catch him.  Jin starts to run away and gets his foot caught into a bear trap.  One of the guards goes to kill Jin and low and behold CLAIRE shoots him only now she looks like Rousseau did.  Could it be that they all start taking over for those that have been there for a while? 

Clair = Rousseau
          Both had their babies on the island
          Both lost their babies
          Both turned into wilderness women on the island

3.  We find out more about what Kate DOES instead of what she DID.  We get her in the taxi with Claire running from the (worst) US Marshall.  She makes eye contact with Jack...do they remember a memory? or just remember each other from the plane?  Kate gets a local autoshop guy to help her get off the handcuffs and when she goes to change using the bag from Claire, there are only baby things in the bag.  Kate goes back to give Claire back her bag and Claire was there to give away her baby.

This makes me wonder if, since Kate "gave away" Aaron in Season 5, is this her alternate "giving away" Aaron?  Claire thinks that the people who are supposed to adopt her baby is someone who decided not to show up at the airport on purpose.  When Kate and Claire get to the people's house, she finds that the husband has left the wife and the wife won't do it on her own.  Then...Clair goes into labor.  Kate rushes her to the hospital, gets Claire into a room and who comes in to help her?? ETHAN!!!  This time though he gives Claire the chocie to have drugs or not.  When Claire asks if Aaron is ok...the heart beat stops for a moment...Kate looks up like "Aaron??!!"  At least that is how I took it.  Does Kate remember something?

Police come looking for Joan Hart...aka Kate...and Claire tells them that she hasn't seen her that Ms. Hart was only her cab driver.  Claire gives Kate her credit card.  Kate says that she thinks Claire should keep him and that Aaron is a great name.  I still think she knows something!

4.  WHERE IS ROSE AND BERNARD?? I hope enjoying their island hideaway....

PS...could we have gotten any more commercials in???  and WAAAYYY to go J.J. Abrams...another way to screw with our minds and NOT answer any questions.
