REALLY?? - Michigan

Stemming from the REALLY? segment done on SNL Thursdays.

Really Michigan?  You're going to listen to a neighbor complain about a woman helping out her neighbors?  Aren't we in times of need? Don't you think that the neighbor is being ridiculous themselves about this?  What would you do if you were one of the parents that needed to go to work earlier some mornings?  Is there something aginst having your friends over if you are one of that lady's kids?  That is the same difference.  Really Michigan, you should think about this...

And Really neighbors?  The footage I saw of what is going on is a woman helping out in struggling times because we all need a helping hand now and again these days.  At least she is interacting with all of the kids, playing in the yard, and not leaving them unattended.  You're going to sit there and whine about what?  Are they stepping on your lawn? Are they bouncing the ball too high?  Are you responsible if they run into the street if they aren't looking?  NO!  So butt out.

When I saw this on the news this morning I wanted to kick those neighbors.  I'm guessing they could be older, kids are already moved out and are grumpy.  They could also be younger and mad that the woman didn't offer to watch THEIR kids too.  Really?  Maybe she didn't offer because she knows that you don't need assistance since obviously someone is home.  This whole thing is absurd.  I hope that the woman who is being helpful doesn't get in trouble.  I would hate to see something so silly be blown out of proportion too much further.  Guess who isn't going to be invited to the next block party or cookout?  YUP...those people.

  1. Really? Then maybe we are breaking the law by having someone take Micah to school each day. I was shocked and furious to read this dumb story. It shouldn't even be a story.

This happens every single day all over the world!

Really? There is a law against this?

Why do the neighbors care? I'm curious as to the full story as well. There has to be some sort of reason, but I can't think of any good one.

Seems like a nice place to live.

  2. Yeah I would like to know the whole story too. If that is the case then when any kids go down 20 minutes before the bus comes to the bus stop then whose ever property they are on should be fined too. We used to go to the bus stop early and play with our friends. Apparently that is not allowed. I'd like to hear what ends up happening too.
